Based on the archive information released by the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, the author of the text comes to the conclusion that the Soviet intelligence had its agents in the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the 1930s. At the same time, a diversity of information gathered by the Soviets and the then model of intelligence that forced the activity of intelligence networks, not single agents, shows that there were many sources placed in the Polish MoFA. Coming from this conclusion, the author hypothesizes on the identity of Soviet agents and for this purpose he uses the intelligence modus operandi and historical information on the possible contacts of the MoFA’s employees with the Soviet intelligence during their previous service in the II Department of the Polish General Staff.Autor, analizując w artykule informacje archiwalne ujawnione przez Służbę Wywiadu Zagranicznego Federacji Rosyjskiej, dochodzi do wniosku, że sowiecki wywiad w latach 30. XX w. posiadał agenturę w Ministerstwie Spraw Zagranicznych Rzeczpospolitej Polskiej. Przy czym, zarówno różnorodność informacji pozyskiwanych przez Sowietów, jak i ówczesny model prowadzenia wywiadu, wymuszający pracę sieci wywiadowczych, a nie pojedynczych szpiegów, wskazują na wielość źródeł uplasowanych w polskim MSZ. Autor, wychodząc z tej konkluzji, wysuwa hipotezy robocze co do tożsamości sowieckiej agentury i posługuje się przy tym modus operandi działań wywiadu oraz informacjami historycznymi na temat możliwych kontaktów pracowników MSZ z sowieckim wywiadem w okresie ich wcześniejszej służby w Oddziale II Sztabu Głównego Wojska Polskiego
