Privatization of security understood as privatization of tasks, or privatization of public administration tasks in the field of public safety and order in Poland is a relatively new phenomenon, the beginnings of which should be dated at the turn of the 80s and 90s of the twentieth century. This is directly related to systemic and social changes and economic ones aiming at democratizing public life and adopting the capitalist economic system.
