The article takes stock of the past fifty years Catholic-Orthodox dialogue. They appoint them two events ecumenical especially important to him, it is the meeting of Pope Paul VI and Patriarch Athenagoras I (1964) and Francis Pope and the Patriarch Bartholomew in Jerusalem (2014). The outline shows a gradual process of division between the Churches of East and West.
