Niniejsza publikacja dotyczy zagadnienia modelowania ruchu tłumu z wykorzystaniem podejścia mikroskopowego. Podejście takie skupia się na zachowaniach i interakcjach zachodzących na poziomie pojedynczych osobników. W pracy przedstawiono różne modele (oparte na automatach komórkowych oraz modelowaniu agentowym), omówiono też współczesne kierunki badań oraz najważniejsze zastosowania.
