Application of fuzzy set theory to schedule construction works by the critical chain method

W referacie przedstawiono nowe podejście do problemu harmonogramowania robót budowlanych metodą łańcucha krytycznego. Nowością przedstawionego podejścia jest uwzględnienie nieprecyzyjnie określonych parametrów rozkładu prawdopodobieństwa czasów wykonania robót. W celu identyfikacji łańcucha krytycznego oraz wyznaczenia buforów w harmonogramie budowy, wykorzystano teorię zbiorów rozmytych oraz zmodyfikowane zasady arytmetyki liczb rozmytych. Dla wyznaczenia buforowanego harmonogramu nierozmytego, wykorzystano koncepcję ?-przekrojów liczby rozmytej. Poprawność przyjętych założeń wykazano na podstawie wyników przeprowadzonych symulacji.The paper presents a new approach to the problem of scheduling of construction project by the critical chain method. Novelty of the method is to include inaccurate information about the parameters of probability distributions of durations of works. In order to identify the critical chain and schedule buffers, fuzzy set theory and the modified rules for the arithmetic of fuzzy numbers is used. To determine the non-fuzzy buffered schedule, the concept of a-cuts of a fuzzy number is used. The correctness of the presented approach is demonstrated on the basis of the results of the simulation
