Identification of the state of consistency in loosely cohesive soils based on penetration characteristics from cone penetration test

W pracy przedstawiono procedurę identyfikacji stanu konsystencji gruntów mało spoistych na podstawie parametrów penetracji z badania sondowania statycznego. Wskazano na czynniki, których pominięcie w analizie prowadzić może do błędnej interpretacji wyników badania. Zaproponowano postać związku empirycznego umożliwiającego oszacowanie stopnia plastyczności gruntów mało spoistych na podstawie znormalizowanego oporu stożka, przez uwzględnienie czynników zewnętrznych. Wiarygodność związku korelacyjnego zweryfikowano na podstawie wyników badań laboratoryjnych.The paper presents a procedure for the identification of the state of consistency for loosely cohesive soils based on penetration parameters from cone penetration tests. Factors were indicated, which elimination from the analysis may lead to an erroneous interpretation of testing results. A form was proposed for an empirical relationship facilitating estimation of the liquidity index for loosely cohesive soils based on cone resistance normalized by incorporation of the effect of external factors. Reliability of the correlation relationship was verified based on laboratory testing results
