This study was aimed at determining the technological effectiveness of methane fermentation process of plant biomass from Virginia fanpetals (Sida hermaphrodita Rusby) in continuous reactors at a temperature of 37 oC. The experiment was divided into four experimental series differing in the feeding of reactor’s volume with a load of organic dry matter in the range of 1.0 kg o.d.m./m3 d to 4.0 kg o.d.m./m3·d. The highest technological effectiveness, including the quantity and qualitative composition of the biogas produced, was reached at substrate loading range of 1.0 kg o.d.m./m3 ·d to 2.0 kg o.d.m./m3·d.
