W artykule przedstawiono ocenę zastosowanego wypełnienia na zdolność pochłaniania energii przez kompozytowy element konstrukcji cienkościennej obciążonej dynamicznie. Elementy energochłonne wykonano w KMiIS. Badania przeprowadzono na maszynie wytrzymałościowej Instron. Badaniom poddano elementy energochłonne w postaci tulejek z dodatkowym wypełnieniem pianowym.
