Testing fuel properties of municipal sewage sludge

Sediments generated in the process of the waste treatment poses a large problem with their further utilization due to their variable composition. There is no unique and optimum method of waste sediment management. The method is selected individually and depends above all on the size of the considered waste treatment plant. The purpose of the tests was a physicochemical analysis of the municipal waste sediments in the process of combustion or co-combustion with the hard coal. The analysis has been carried out for the waste treatment plant with capacity of RLM = 125 000.Powstający w procesie oczyszczania ścieków osad ze względu na zmienny skład stanowi duży problem pod kątem dalszego zagospodarowania.
