This paper is an account of a method of motion simulation of vibrating screen meshes developed and tested at the Department of Process Equipment at the Technical University of Łódź. It is obvious that a type of screen vibration and its parameters such as throwing index have a crucial influence on the efficacy of separating granular mixtures.
