Exploitations minières dans le Nord de l'Ardèche

A certain number of ancient mines from the northern part of the french department Ardèche are presented. Their activity were at their highest during the end of the 19th and the early 20th century, before declining during each of the World war conflict. Importation of mineral material in Europe from the third-world, at a low-cost of extraction and much easier to treat led to their abandon.Un certain nombre de mines du nord de l’Ardèche sont présentées. Elles ont eu leur heure de gloire à la fin du XIXe et au début du XXe siècle, alors que l’industrie était en plein essor, mais elles ont aussi accusé le coup lors de chacun des conflits mondiaux. Il est cependant certain que c’est l’importation de minerais, plus faciles à extraire et à moindre coût, en provenance du tiers-monde qui a mené à leur abandon.Sesiano Jean.
