The archaeological excavations that took place on the site of Chevenez, Lai Coiratte in Swiss Jura, have unearthed the remains of a settlement and structures linked with metallurgical activity, as well as a grave containing the squelettons of a man, a woman and an infant buried simultaneously in a wooden coffin. This isolated tomb is located close to the settlement. According to the anthropological studies, the two adults are fully integrated to the local population and no cause of death could be determined so far.
