Applying the acoustic method to determine the modulus of elasticity of rape seeds with different humidity

Celem przeprowadzonych badań było wyznaczenie modułu sprężystości E nasion rzepaku przy zastosowaniu aktualnie rozwijanej metody akustycznej. W metodzie tej moduł sprężystości wyznacza się na podstawie prędkości poprzecznych fal akustycznych w złożu materiału. Wyznaczano własności złoża rzepaku odmiany Licosmos dla wilgotności od 6 do 15%. Stwierdzono, że moduł sprężystości rósł wraz ze wzrostem ciśnienia hydrostatycznego i malał z wilgotnością.The purpose of the study was to determine the modulus of elasticity E of rapeseeds by using the currently developed acoustic method. According to this method, the modulus of elasticity is determined based on the velocity of transverse acoustic waves in the material deposit. Determined were the properties of rapeseed belonging to the Licosmos variety, for the humidity from 6 to 15%.
