Worktime measurement : from self recording to analytic reconstitution. This paper deals with f armers' worktime measurement, mainly from a methodological point of view. The authors put into question the usual opinion according to which farming's specificities cons train to use self-recording diaries in order to measure precisely worktime and to follow up activities ail along a year. The text supports that this method is not the only reliable one and that, in addition, it presents some limits. The interview method, although often decried, achieves good results, even in agriculture ; but it is only valuable for weekly worktime.
