Developing scientific concepts from conceptualisation in action. A proposed professional didactical method. This article examines the nature of conceptions generated by students of technical agriculture using their experience of professional situations, then revisits a problem developed by Vygotski (1934, 1987), showing how concepts acquired through experience can lead to scientific concepts. Those conceptions that come from practical experience are the product of both action and the interactions with experienced professionals. In a way, these give the students specific directions and conceptions oriented towards the final practice.
