W pierwszej części referatu przedstawiono informacje teoretyczne dotyczące analizy falkowej. Szczegółowo omówione zostały CWT, DWT oraz pakiety falkowe. Druga część referatu do zastosowanie praktyczne falek do p prawy jakości oraz kompresji sygnałów 1D oraz 2D.The first part of the paper contains theoretical informations about wavelet analysis. CWT, DWT and Wavelet Packets (WP) were desribed. The second part of the paper contains practical applications of wavelet transform. There were presented examples of 1D and 2D signal denoising and compression
