Digital broadcast tv systems vs rail transport safety

Opisano rosnący wpływ rozwiązań technicznych na poprawę bezpieczeństwa ruchu i warunków eksploatacyjnych oraz przedstawiono perspektywy nowych zastosowań tych systemów.This article discusses the implications and development of digital broadcast television systems for rail traffic control and transport infrastructure monitoring as well as describes the increasing influence of technical solutions on the improvement of traffic safety and maintenance conditions. The prospects of new applications of the systems are also presented here
