Development of Optical Fiber Technology in Poland

In this paper, the authors, chairmen of the 13th Conference on Optical Fibers and Their Applications OFA 2011, and editors of the conference proceedings summarize the development of optical fiber technology in Poland (during the period of 2009-2011) on the basis of papers presented there and consecutively published in this volume.
