W artykule przestawiono koncepcję zamiany głównego źródła zasilania elektrycznego w pojeździe podwodnym Neptune SB-1, jakim jest akumulator kwasowy, na system ogniwa paliwowego PEM. Po sprecyzowaniu wymagań energetycznych pojazdu dobrano system ogniwa paliwowego oraz magazyny wodoru i tlenu.
