The aim of the presented research was to analyze the dependencies between slow surface deformations and faults distribution. The area of the research included seven mines of the Dabrowskie Coal Basin. Coal exploitation has been conducted in this region for over 200 years. The region faces a problem of vertical ground deformations. The PSInSAR technique was used in this area to measure small, long-period ground displacements. The PSInSAR method exploits a set of a few dozen satellite radar images of the same area performed at different times. The velocities of deformations are measured only in points called 'persistent scatterers - PS'. The PS points are good radar wave reflectors located on the Earth's surface, e.g. buildings, bridges, rock...
