Artykuł przedstawia przegląd zastosowań sieci neuronowych w systemach zarządzania ruchem miejskim oraz propozycję systemu zarządzania, wykorzystującego sieci neuronowe. Opisane zostały te cechy sieci neuronowej, które mogą być przydatne w rozwiązywaniu zadań optymalizacji, związanych z opracowywaniem optymalnych strategii sterowania w miejskich systemach sterowania ruchem (UTC systems).
