Early defibrillation basic resuscitation and AED use - with the specifics of schools and research buildings taken into account

W artykule przedstawiono wskazania do stosowania wczesnej defibrylacji, opisano algorytmy i procedury resuscytacji dla dorosłych oraz dzieci z zastosowaniem automatycznych defibrylatorów zewnętrznych (AED) oraz zalecenia praktyczne ich użycia. Ponadto podano tez zasady, jakimi należy się kierować przy rozmieszczaniu AED w budynkach szkół i instytucji badawczych. W treści uwzględniono “Wytyczne ERC 2015".The article presents situations in which the use of an early defibrillation is encouraged, describes resuscitation algorithms and procedures for both adults and children with the use of AED as well as practical advice in that field. Moreover, rules of AED deployment in educational buildings have been addressed. The contents of the paper also covers the "2015 guidelines of the European Resuscitation Council"
