The paper presents the energy and economic effectiveness analysis of technological systems of natural gas fired gas-steam combined heat and power (CHP) plants, operating in district heating systems. The analysis was performed for the following technological systems of gas-steam CHP plants: (1) gas-steam CHP plant with two-pressure heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) and extraction-condensing steam turbine, and (2) gas-steam CHP plant with three-pressure HRSG and extraction-condensing steam turbine.
