Synthesis and isolation of enantiopure compounds remains an important challenge in medicinal, pharmaceutical, alimentary as well as material chemistry. Amongst many methods leading to enantiopure compounds, formation and fractional crystallization of diastereomeric salts of an enantiopure resolving agent is the most popular one.
