W artykule omówiono zasadę działania pojemnościowych wilgotnościomierzy do drewna. Przedyskutowano główne źródła niepewności pomiaru. Doświadczalnie określono wpływ rozkładu wilgotności wzdłuż przekroju próbki na niepewność pomiaru. Podano analityczną zależność wielkości tej niepewności dla wilgotnościomierzy pojemnościowych i rezystancyjnych.
