The paper describes the results of analysis of the transient state in a simple series RCα circuit with supercapacitor. A simple fractional-order supercapacitor model has been introduced to the analysis. The considered system has been supplied by a periodic voltage source. Selected results of the simulation studies, carried out in Mathematica, Maple and PSpice have also been presented
