Constructivismo y pedagogía en la educación de la natación.

This research aims to take stock of the possible contribution of constructivism to the renewal of the pedagogy of swimming. If the pedagogies oriented by constructivism have profoundly renewed the ways of approaching the teaching of team sports, the same is not the case with the teaching of predominantly technical sports disciplines. By identifying the differences and similarities between the various forms of constructivism, the article offers a pedagogical framework guided by this epistemology that can be used in the teaching of swimming. Two examples and their consequences for learning are given in teaching butterfly and breaststroke techniques.Esta investigación pretende hacer un balance de la posible contribución del constructivismo a la renovación de la pedagogía de la natación. Si las pedagogías orientadas por el constructivismo han renovado profundamente las formas de abordar la enseñanza de los deportes colectivos, no ocurre lo mismo con la enseñanza de disciplinas deportivas predominantemente técnicas. Al identificar las diferencias y similitudes entre las diversas formas de constructivismo, el artículo ofrece un marco pedagógico guiado por esta epistemología que puede utilizarse en la enseñanza de la natación.
