La demencia es un síndrome asociado a la edad, caracterizado por el deterioro progresivo de la función cognitiva, que desemboca en una disminución de la independencia y de la identidad personal, produciendo discapacidad y altos costes económicos para el sistema nacional sanitario. El objetivo de esta revisión sistemática es compilar la evidencia actual sobre la efectividad del ejercicio físico como posible herramienta para mejorar la calidad de vida (CdV) en adultos mayores con demencia (AMcD).
