Asylum in Europe, African and European perspective

Las grandes olas migratorias han desatado un cambio social, político y económico al interior de los Estados europeos. Algunos como Italia, España y Alemania tuvieron que iniciar un cambio interno para poder hacer frente a todas las necesidades de los solicitantes de asilo, sin dejar a un lado las necesidades de sus ciudadanos. Sin embargo, dentro de dicho recibimiento se producen un sin fin de complicaciones desencadenadas por la imposibilidad de tener un eficaz control migratorio, tales como violaciones de Derechos Humanos (DD. HH), la dificultad al momento de integrar y acoplar a los solicitantes de asilo, entre otros. De acuerdo con la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos y soportado por los postulados del Derecho Internacional Humanitario (DIH), todos los Estados están tanto en la obligación de recibir como de proporcionar las condiciones mínimas de vida para todos los migrantes y solicitudes. Por ende ¿Cuáles son las principales motivaciones y desafíos de las personas provenientes de África para solicitar asilo en la Unión Europea (En adelante UE)? Así este trabajo tiene como objetivo efectuar un análisis basado en teorías de tipo cuantitativo, concretamente a través del análisis de datos, noticias y testimonios, para hallar cuáles son las motivaciones de tipo histórico y fáctico que han provocado las recientes olas migratorias desde África a Europa. Complementariamente con lo anterior, se buscará identificar cuáles son los principales desafíos que enfrentan los Estados europeos frente a dicha ola migratoria. En relación con África, este trabajo busca identificar cuáles son las razones principales que llevan a que los africanos busquen ser recibidos bajo la protección de asilo dentro de la Unión Europea. Entendiendo así no solo las causas sino identificar las principales dificultades por las que atraviesan estas personas al momento de tomar la decisión de abandonar sus estados de origen y adentrarse en una sociedad y organización política totalmente diferente.The massive waves of migration have unleashed social, political and economic change within European countries. Some, such as Italy, Spain and Germany, had to initiate an internal change in order to be able to meet all the needs of asylum seekers, without neglecting the needs of their citizens. However, within this reception there are endless complications triggered by the impossibility of having an effective migration control, such as violations of Human Rights, the difficulty in integrating and matching asylum seekers, among others. According to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and supported by the postulates of International Humanitarian Law, all States are both obliged to receive and provide minimum living conditions for all migrants and asylum seekers. Therefore, what are the main motivations and challenges for people from Africa to apply for asylum in the European Union (EU)? Thus, this paper aims to carry out an analysis based on quantitative theories, specifically through the analysis of data, news and testimonies, in order to find out what are the historical and factual motivations that have caused the recent waves of migration from Africa to Europe. Complementary to the above, it will seek to identify the main challenges faced by European states in the face of this migratory wave. In relation to Africa, this paper seeks to identify the main reasons that lead Africans to seek to be received under the protection of asylum within the European Union. Thus understanding not only the causes but also identifying the main difficulties that these people go through at the moment of making the decision to leave their states of origin and enter a totally different society and political organization.InternacionalistaPregrad
