La industria textil dedicada a los procesos de obtención de materias primas para la elaboración de la ropa que utilizamos se ha ido acomodando a los diferentes avances tecnológicos, mejorando continuamente los procesos para su fabricación y confección, basados ​​fuertemente en la demanda y las tendencias de la moda, permitiendo esta industria sea mucho más competitiva y productiva. Por ello, las pequeñas, medianas y grandes empresas se han visto obligadas a buscar estrategias que les den la posibilidad de tener una ventaja competitiva en el mercado que les permita mantenerse y crecer ya sea optimizando la cadena de valor, mejorando los procesos productivos, creando o implementando nuevas tecnologías o innovando en el sector. Con base en lo anterior, se encontró una oportunidad de mejora en el proceso de producción y manejo de inventarios en la Pyme del sector textil Kott Risk, que diseña, fabrica y distribuye ropa a nivel nacional.Actualmente, Kott Risk tiene una demanda de diferentes sectores cuya distribución es principalmente mayorista. Por ello, cumple con los requisitos de altas cantidades de producto de forma regular, lo que hace imprescindible, para el cumplimiento de estos requisitos, un sistema y una correcta gestión de sus existencias que garanticen el cumplimiento de lo anterior en la mayor proporción y como tan pronto como sea posible.Dado lo anterior, la empresa acude a la toma de decisiones de dicha administración y gestión del producto final de forma aleatoria, no cuenta con soporte técnico o de ingeniería que garantice la correcta implementación y ejecución de políticas óptimas para cumplir con los objetivos de ambos. , ellos como empresa y como respuesta a la demanda de sus clientes. For this reason, small, medium and large companies have been forced to seek strategies that give them the possibility of having a competitive advantage in the market that allows them to maintain and grow either by optimizing the value chain, improving production processes, creating or implementing new technologies or innovating in the sector. Based on the aforementioned, an opportunity for improvement in the production process and inventory management was found in the SME of the textile sector Kott Risk, which designs, manufactures and distributes clothing nationwide.Kott Risk currently has a demand from different sectors whose distribution is mainly wholesale. For this reason, it meets the requirements of high quantities of product on a regular basis, which makes it essential, in terms of meeting these requirements, a system and correct management of its stocks which guarantee compliance with the aforementioned in the greatest proportion and as soon as possible.Given the above, the company goes to the decision-making of such administration and management of the final product in a random way, it does not have technical or engineering support that guarantees the correct implementation and execution of optimal policies to meet the objectives of both, them as a company and as a response in terms of demand for its customers. This can probably derive in the absence of the final product, non-fulfillment of this with respect to demand and in other scenarios, excess of it.The results that come from this type of operation are oversized increases in costs and units in stock, which, in different cases throughout the operating year, are stagnant in inventory and the cost of storage actually increases. Consequently, a loss is generated in the percentage of the expected profit of the final product, which also results in rebates or balances that do not guarantee the fulfillment of one of the most important objectives of the company, such as obtaining the fair and required profit from different references.Obviously, Kott Risk needs the development and implementation of instruments or engineering tools that allow the creation and exact management of the optimal policies that guarantee that the units in inventory will meet the demand and, of course, that minimum values will result from this (both in surpluses and shortages), reduction of storage costs and acquisition of final product from suppliers and other performance indicators which are matters of interest to the company.Once the references were identified (Buso Yatra and Parka June) which present a greater flow and constant volume of sales, under the information provided by the company, we proceed to the development and implementation of the engineering tool that evaluates the behaviors of the company’s demand of the references of interest and provides the service of obtaining the optimal storage policies for each one of them that, under the input of the parameters required for their execution, provides the specific information to carry out a correct management and administration of the stocks. The output yields the optimal costs and parameters that guarantee compliance with all the company's interest indicators.The result of the implementation of the tool results in a significant reduction in terms of the total annual cost of the storage management and promotes the improvement of the decision-making process of the company around the execution and management of the supply process to its customers.Finally, it is necessary to emphasize that for the development and implementation of the tool, the ISO 13053 standard was used which, under the premises of definition, measurement, analysis, improvement and control of the processes, guarantees compliance with the required standards in terms of good practices and optimal project execution.Ingeniero (a) IndustrialPregrad
