Feeding habits, physical activity and sedentary behaviors in students of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana of Bogotá city during the Covid-19 pandemic

El presente estudio permite conocer los hábitos alimentarios, actividad física y comportamientos sedentarios de los estudiantes de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana durante algunos periodos de tiempo del aislamiento preventivo por COVID- 19 en la ciudad de Bogotá. Teniendo en cuenta, estudios que han demostrado que a causa del aislamiento preventivo muchas personas alrededor del mundo han venido presentando cambios en cuanto a sus hábitos alimentarios, actividad física y comportamientos sedentarios. Por lo anterior, se aplicó un cuestionario durante cuatro periodos de tiempo con 66 preguntas en la plataforma Microsoft Forms, a estudiantes de distintas carreras de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, donde 31 estudiantes completaron el cuestionario. A partir de los resultados obtenidos, se observó qué el consumo de la mayoría de los grupos de alimentos se mantuvo, a excepción de los grupos de lácteos y azucares donde su consumo disminuyó, mientras que el consumo de postres aumentó. En cuanto la actividad física disminuyó y los comportamientos sedentarios aumentaron durante los períodos de aislamiento preventivo. Dicho esto, se concluye que los estudiantes de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana que participaron en el estudio presentaron diferencias de sus hábitos alimentarios, actividad física y comportamientos sedentarios durante los periodos del aislamiento preventivo.The present study allows to know the eating habits, physical activity and sedentary behaviors of the students of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana during some lockdown periods of time due to COVID-19 in Bogotá city. Taking into account, studies that have shown that a cause of lockdown is that many people around the world have been presenting changes in their feeding habits, physical activity and sedentary behaviors. Therefore, a survey was carried out during four periods of time with 66 questions on the Microsoft Forms platform, to students of different careers of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where 31 students completed the survey. The results shown that for the majority of food groups was maintained, an exception of the dairy and sugar groups where their consumption decreased, while desserts consumption increased. Regarding physical activity, it decreased and sedentary behaviors increased during periods of lockdown.
