Shoulder disorders in swimmers are a reality stated through numerous research papers. Therefore, shoulder injury prevention strategies will become unquestionably essential. With this chapter we intend to address the prevention strategies for shoulder disorders in swimmers, with a preliminary description of the key factors that have an effect on these conditions. Based at the evidence and etiological factors presented, it´s far clear that shoulder disorders are a multifactorial condition. Consequently, integrated prevention strategies ought to be implemented considering about all of the factors which can be incorporated.
