Dissertation presented as the partial requirement for obtaining a Master's degree in Statistics and Information Management, specialization in Marketing Research and CRMThe inclusion of people with disabilities has been receiving research attention in recent years. This study contributes to the existent knowledge by exploring, with the use of in-depth interviews, the experiences of Portuguese people with reduced mobility regarding their travel experience. The most common barriers are identified, and possible solutions outlined, to add value to the academic research on this topic while giving useful and practical recommendations to decision makers.
