In France, physiotherapists (PT) mainly work using medical doctors’ prescriptions. Therefore, medical doctors shall have adequate knowledge of the PTs’ profession in order to ensure relevant guidance for patients’ care pathways. Method : firstly, we conducted a pilot interview to design an online survey. Then, this survey was shared through social networks and emails.Results : we received 327 exploitable responses (representing 35% of Brest’s medical students). 67% of these students tend to have good knowledge about PT’s. University curriculum progress and prior encounters with PTs have the strongest positive influence on their knowledge.
