L’impact de l’informatisation de l’anesthésie sur la prise en soins de l’infirmier anesthésiste diplômé d'état (IADE)

Introduction : In the digital age, computerization has been entering the hospital and has become impossible to ignore. Many hospitals have made the choice to computerize their anaesthesia department.Aims : The aim of this study was to estimate the benefits and the disadvantages of connected anaesthesia, in order to anticipate and to prevent difficulties encountered by hospitals during settlement of anaesthetic software.Methods : A descriptive, transversal, anonymous and self-declaratory survey was conducted using Google Form®’s online questionnaires. 188 nurse anaesthetists from 3 university hospitals working with computerized anaesthesia took part in the survey.Results and discussion : 64 % of people polled replied (121 responses). The computerization of anaesthesia is appreciated by 94 % of nurse anaesthetists who do not wish to go back to the paper version of anaesthesia sheets. The benefits reported by nurse anaesthetists are : digital recording of datas in real time (96%), saving time (88%) and anticipation of taking care of patients (84%). However, the nurse anaesthetists noticed that a major disadvantage is the risk for the system to go down (96%). From this study, it was made clear that the training and presence of a referent nurse anaesthetist are essential to appropriation and acceptance of the digital tool.Conclusion : Computerization in anesthesia is in the beginning of its development. It is an unquestionably helpful tool, accepted by professionals and secures the path to patient care. Its introduction into hospitals requires a link between technical, material and human fields.Introduction : À l’ère du tout numérique, l’informatique est entrée à l’hôpital et est devenue incontournable. De nombreux hôpitaux ont fait le choix d’informatiser les services d’anesthésie.Objectifs : L’objectif principal de cette étude était d’évaluer les bénéfices et les inconvénients de l’anesthésie connectée, afin d’anticiper et prévenir les problèmes rencontrés par les établissements à la mise en place des logiciels d’anesthésie.Méthodes : Nous avons réalisé une enquête descriptive, transversale, anonyme et auto-déclarative à l’aide de questionnaires en ligne Google Form® auprès de 188 IADE de 3 CHU informatisés en anesthésie.Résultats et discussions : Le taux de retour est de 64% (121 réponses). L’informatisation de l’anesthésie est appréciée par 94% des IADE qui ne souhaitent pas revenir à la version papier de la feuille d’anesthésie. Les bénéfices rapportés par les IADE sont l’enregistrement des données en temps réel (96%), le gain de temps (88%) et l’anticipation des prises en charge des patients (84%). Cependant, les IADE notent un inconvénient majeur qu’est le risque de panne (96%). Enfin, il ressort de cette enquête que la formation et la présence d’un référent IADE sont essentielles dans l’appropriation et acceptation de l’outil informatique.Conclusion : L’informatisation est à l’aube de son développement en anesthésie. C’est un outil d’aide indiscutable, accepté par les professionnels et sécurisant le parcours de soins du patient. Sa mise en oeuvre dans les établissements de santé nécessite une articulation entre les champs technique, matériel et humain
