Glass fiber : its possible usefulness in an industrial arts program

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM It was the purpose of tills study to compile a abort history of glass fiber and determine its possible usefulness in an industrial arts program. The writer felt that a knowledge of these data was needed to facilitate the understanding of composition and uses of glass fiber for considered improvement of his teaching responsibility to the students. More specifically, the study was an attempt to answer the following questions: 1. what is industrial arts, and why should glass fiber be considered as a material for use? 2. What factors influence the development of glass fiber? 3. How is glass fiber manufactured, and what are its effects upon design and construction? 4.
