2D hybrid perovskites are a class of semiconductors with promising properties for solar energy conversion, the realization of laser diodes and photodetectors. These materials are solution processed at low temperature. They form self-assembled two dimensional structures with inorganic sheets separated by large organic cations. In this work, we aim at a better understanding of the fundamental properties of these materials based on optical spectroscopy.First, we have investigated the recombination dynamics in the monolayer compound as a function of the exciton density using time-resolved photoluminescence.
