International audienceHearings of detained people via video conference remains a polemical issue which has been the subject matter of many judicial decisions throughout the last few years. Even though the use of video conference has often been discussed and criticised regarding hearings of detained people on remand, it has rather been neglected by academics when it comes to detained asylum seekers.
