International audienceThis study proposes to revisit an inscription (AE 2016, 1052), engraved on a marble plaque discovered in 2007 on the site of Cos/Cosa in Lamothe-Capdeville (Tarn-et-Garonne), near Montauban. This inscription has remained confidential until now, excepting a brief description in local exhibition catalogues. The document offers four incomplete lines of original text, which an epigraphic analysis has attempted to contextualize within what appears to be the dedication of an evergetic deed to the civitas of the Cadurci, where the discovery was made.
