International audienceBased on two comparative field studies, this article offers a typology of youth transition in order to analyse the socially differentiated trajectories of Chinese students graduating in France, after their university studies. It shows the impact of the dominant norms of Chinese society that weigh on young Chinese students overseas, but also the impact of the processes of reconfiguring social norms in a migration context.
