This thesis aims to develop an innovative, eco-responsible and rapid approach of the functionalization of porous silica - polymerization from maleic anhydride (AM) assisted by plasma. Four principal tasks: 1) optimization of the reactor’s operating conditions by interpreting the interdependent regimes occurring during complex polymerization, 2) study of the morphogenesis of polymers formed on silicon-based substrates with different surface properties, 3) optimized and reproducible synthesis of mechanically stable macroporous silica monoliths, 4) in-depth study of the functionalization of the silica monoliths synthesized previously.
