International audienceIn chemical engineering, surrogate functions are commonly used in modeling thermodynamic properties of pure compounds because they are often more accurate than equations of state. In 2020, we presented a semi-empirical model describing the vapor density from the reduced triple point temperature to about a reduced temperature of 0.97 with only one temperature-dependent term. However, in many cases the temperature range up to critical temperature is necessary. Therefore, the existing semi-empirical model was extended by another temperature-dependent term.
