In the Maghreb countries, aromatic and medicinal plants are used by people who have know-how in terms of use, cultivation and conservation. The Jebel Maadid in the Hodna Mountains in Algeria is known for its floristic diversity, coupled with essential ethnobotanical value, according to the significant use of these plants in traditional medicine by the indigenous population.This ethnobotanical study sheds light on the medicinal plants used in this region and the place they occupy in the daily life of the villagers.
