The mechanical behaviour of ceramic matrix composite materials reinforced with continuous fibres is highly dependent on the coupling conditions between fibre and matrix. Understanding the mechanisms of damage and rupture of the base cell, consisting of a fiber surrounded by its matrix sheath, is therefore essential. The study of the influence of charge transfer conditions between fiber and matrix on the fracture modes of microcomposites and their evolution as a function of temperature, was approached using a numerical simulation, based on energy concepts. The influence of the elastic and expansion properties of coupled materials, the thicknesses and anisotropies of the interphases between fiber and matrix, as well as the friction conditions...
