[Departement_IRSTEA]EA [TR1_IRSTEA]TEPSA / ENERFRIAn experimental device was realized to characterize the distribution of a two-phase flow in a heat exchanger with minichannels and to measure the singular and regular pressure losses. A transparent test section made of polycarbonate was built in which the fluid is distributed into 8 multi-port tubes. The instrumentation makes it possible to measure the pressure losses in different points of the input header and near the intrusion of the multi-port tubes in the header.. The used fluid was the refrigerant HFE-7100 in order to carry out experiments close to atmospheric pressure and ambient temperature.
