Introduction: Intimate partner violence (IPV ) is a frequent and under-estimated problematic, causing severe consequences on the health of women and on society in general. The main objective of this study was to describe the expectations of female victims of IPV towards their general practitioner (GP). Methods: This was a multicentric descriptive epidemiological study, conducted form December 2019 to May 2020 in Ain and Haute-Savoie, taking part in a national work by Dr Mathilde VICARD. A census of help and care units for IPV victims in Ain and Haute- Savoie was undertaken, and listed on www.declicviolence.fr.
