International audienceExcavated in 2013, the Obernai Neuen Brunnen site has uncovered habitat structures of La Tène A2 to B1 (450-375 BC; Féliu 2017). Thirteen animal skeletons, domestic and wild, deposited in silo were discovered, as well as detrital discharges. These bones were studied as part of a master's degree defended in June 2020 (Sauvage 2020), they reveal livestock farming activities foreseeable for this type of site. They reveal also the importance of hunting, which is better represented here than in other Alsatians rurals habitats. The presence of deposits highlights singular practices that are different from consumption discharges.
