International audienceThe Garonne valley Palaeolithic context is almost completely dominated by the middle, “ classic”, Acheulean. The discovery of an Upper Acheulean site at Raspide 2 (Blagnac, Haute-Garonne) has allowed us to improve our perception of the Palaeolithic occupation of this alluvial corridor and contributes to the documentation of the polymorphism of the transition from the Lower to the Middle Palaeolithic in south-western France. This site is original in the Toulouse area by its position on the very poorly documented lower terrace, its small size compared with the usual vast local spreads, and its industry.
