International audienceThe main purpose of this paper is to present some new data on the Severe realizations undertaken on the site of the current Vigna Barberini, where stood the temple of Sol Elagabalus, which Severus Alexander dedicated a little later to Iuppiter Ultor. The layout of the upper platform having already been described elsewhere, we focus here on the substructions, part of which was rebuilt after the fire of 191/192, while others were the subject of major remodelling interventions. On the northern side, the rectification of the facade's alignment led to a certain number of transformations intended to preserve the use of previously organized spaces.
