Background: Unawareness reduces the patient’s involvement in rehabilitation, which affects their recovery in many ways. The Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM) is a validated client-centred instrument used by Occupational Therapists (OT). This study aimed to assess the use of COPM with patients suffering from unawareness with an acquired brain injury to increase their involvement in rehabilitation.Method: Through an online questionnaire, eleven OT working in rehabilitation were interviewed about their intervention, conceptual models and the advantages of using COPM with unawareness.
